CASP+ Definitions: Mobile
In terms of cybersecurity, “Mobile” refers to the use of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, and the associated risks and security measures that are necessary to protect these devices and the data they contain. Mobile devices are highly portable and often contain sensitive data, making them attractive targets for cybercriminals. As such, mobile security involves protecting devices, data, and applications against a variety of threats, including malware, phishing attacks, and unauthorized access. This can be achieved through the use of mobile device management (MDM) solutions, which enable organizations to monitor and control the use of mobile devices and enforce security policies to reduce the risk of a security breach.
